The Art of Patrón

This groundbreaking VR experience is consistently hailed as the best B-2-B campaign ever and potentially the first VR experience created to play in the B-2-B space.  The good people at Patrón love to bring bartenders and business partners to their Hacienda in Jalisco, Mexico.  When people go to Hacienda Patrón they get to see, feel, and smell the whole tequila making process.  For a company as big as Patrón, it is amazing to get an inside view of their process and to see how truly artisanal and handmade their tequila is.

Working with Director Mark Kudsi and our friends at Kinema Films Mexico, we filmed in Jalisco, at Hacienda Patrón as well as their many beautiful Weber Blue Agave fields.  All post-production was done at Firstborn with help from Legends3D, specifically Justin Denton.  This post team was able to deliver the very first 360 VR experience that incorporated CG elements into live-action.

While this project was completed in 2015, it is still used today by many Patrón salespeople all over the world.  Now they can bring the Hacienda to you.
